The Village Community Development Districts are special purpose governmental agencies under Florida law and exempt from Florida sales tax. This exemption does not apply to goods and services purchased separately by a Contractor in connection with his/her contract obligations unless the Direct Purchase Program is utilized. The Contractor shall be responsible for paying any taxes, fees, or similar payments that are required to be paid in connection with the work being performed.
