Government Day

Government Day is an annual event that features a variety of agencies providing services on the local, state and federal levels as well as demonstrations, handouts, free giveaways and more. This important event was created to help educate residents about the many services available to them and to allow the opportunity to meet with the agencies providing them. Get your questions answered by the experts, meet your elected officials and learn what goes on behind the scenes to maintain and operate this premiere community.

Government Day 2022

The 25th Annual Government Day held on November 5, 2022 was a huge success as we celebrated 25 years of serving you. With over 60 participating agencies and more than 700 residents in attendance, the rooms were filled with helpful resources and knowledgeable individuals ready to answer questions and provide valuable information. District Staff was present and enjoyed interacting with the many people in attendance and various District Departments displayed information about the services they provide throughout the community. Handouts, contact information and many promotional items were handed out in addition to our 25th Annual Government Day Commemorative Pin.

Residents who attended were given the option to complete a survey to offer their feedback on the event and other District services and the results will be used to continue making Government Day such a success.
