Water Volleyball Information

Thank you for visiting the Village Community Development Districts (VCDD) Recreation and Parks Water Volleyball (WVB) website. The Villages WVB Program is the premiere senior WVB Program in the United States! The goals of The Villages WVB Program are exercise, fellowship, and friendly competition.

The Villages Recreation and Parks WVB Program is offered to residents of The Villages and is organized by The Villages Community Development Districts Recreation & Parks Department. All players must undergo a Player Evaluation before they can participate in WVB Leagues. Evaluations are resident volunteer coordinated. Under the direction of the District Manager and the Director of Recreation & Parks, the WVB Program is staffed by a full-time Sports Coordinator. The Villages WVB Program is highly dependent on the help and support of its resident volunteers. The evaluation team, league representatives, ambassadors, referees, and scorekeepers are all volunteers. Through the efforts of countless individuals working as a team, the WVB program continues to grow and evolve. For more information regarding participating in WVB or becoming a volunteer, please contact your location Sports Pool Recreation Manager, call 352-674-1800, or reach out via the Recreation & Parks Department Email.

Players are strongly encouraged to consult a physician before participating in rigorous activities such as water volleyball.
